Material Warranties Overview
Typically, insulated glass in a sloped application has a five year warranty on the edge seal. The warranty covers failure of the hermetic seal, resulting obstruction of vision due to dust collection, or film formation on internal glass surfaces.
Laminated glass has a five year warranty against de-lamination, or edge separation.
Reflective coatings are warranted for ten years against peeling, cracking or deterioration of the metallic coating.
Ceramic frit coatings are warranted for five years against peeling, cracking or deterioration of the ceramic frit coating.
The above warranties are from the date of manufacture. Please note that glass breakage is NOT warranted.
