Moshe Safdie’s Telfair Museum is one of numerous projects on which the noted architect has partnered with AGT. Telfair integrates vertical and slope glazing elements, incorporating both edge-supported, stacked glass (top photo), and a unique cable-supported sloped glazing system: Huge glass units of up to 81 square feet, weighing in excess of 1,000 lbs., are incorporated into a cable supported system with custom-machined corner supports that do not penetrate the glass. The result delivers on Safdie’s dramatic aesthetic design and a unique use of natural light. | |
